Playing football provides you real fun. It is an amazing sport where fantastic achievements and skills can be attained. This sport is extremely popular all over the world and occupies a special place in a sports lover’s heart.

Few reasons which make football a tremendous success are -

A) Duration – It is a shorter game of less duration.  Many other games are too long and require much time. It is a physically tough game that is hard to your bodies. Players require rest after playing it. As a result, the season of this sport is comparatively shorter. Each and every match has great value as fewer matches are played. Any match could prove deciding in nature and this catches the attention of spectators.

B) Variety in playing positions – Football offers various playing positions. Although at higher levels they have separate strikers, midfielders and defenders and their roles are specified for their positions. But at lower levels like school games and neighborhood park children play at all positions and that makes it even more interesting.

C) Team Sport – This sport requires the effort of whole team. A single player can not win the game for you and all members have to contribute.

D) Even chances to win – On a particular day any team can win the match. In many other sports the stronger teams usually dominate. But, in football results in the past show that even unknown teams can win championships.

E) Physically tough sport – Playing football requires good physical toughness to withstand the difficult tackles and rough play. It is a highly aggressive sport that requires killer instinct to win. This makes this sport a real challenge
